HOW DO I LOSE FAT FROM MY STOMACH REGION???

If I had a dollar for every time I was asked this question!!! Where we store body fat as humans is dependent on many variables such as:

  • Sex

  • Genetics

  • Life style

  • Age

I wont beat around the bush, unfortunately you CAN NOT spot reduce fat at sites of your choice.

Spot reduction refers to the belief that you can target and reduce fat from specific areas of your body through exercise or other methods. However, the reality is that spot reduction is a myth. When you lose body fat, your body decides where it comes from based on genetics and individual factors, not your targeted efforts.


When you create a calorie deficit through a healthy diet and exercise, your body will draw energy from fat stores throughout your body. The distribution of these fat stores is largely determined by genetics and hormones, and it's not something you can control through targeted exercises. For example, doing hundreds of crunches may strengthen your abdominal muscles, but it won't specifically burn the fat around your midsection. Instead, your body will burn fat from various areas in a pattern that is unique to you.

The key to losing body fat is to focus on overall fat loss through a combination of a balanced diet, cardiovascular exercise, and strength training. By reducing your overall body fat percentage, you will eventually see results in all areas of your body, including those trouble spots you may be targeting. Remember, patience and consistency are key when it comes to achieving your fat loss goals. Avoid falling for the spot reduction myth, and instead, embrace a holistic approach to health and fitness that prioritizes overall wellness and balanced living.
